The Pocono Mountains is the fastest growing region in Pennsylvania. Pike County has been the fastest growing county in the state for the last 30 years. Builders in the Pocono’s have been stretched to the limit and demand is greater than supply.

     Home building in the Pocono’s is quite different from the homes built in urban areas.  Urban areas have more colonials, ranches, split-levels and bi-levels.  The Pocono’s have more chalets, log homes and contemporaries. In the Pocono’s you’ll see more wood siding, cedar and pine clapboard – while in the suburbs you see more vinyl siding, stucco and brick.
